Who can access this information?

At the moment the information is only available for Insurance companies and their related service providers. In the future we hope to be able to make it available to other market sectors.

Why is this information useful to me?

The industry testing and anlysis of the MotorWeb service provided that it can

• Simplify web based quoting
• Provide certainty in vehicle identification
• Improve the customer experience when discussing vehicles
• Assist in the identification and reduction of fraud

Where does this information come from?

The information comes from the Austroads NEVDIS database and a variety of other 3rd party data sources. NEVDIS is made up of the vehicle information from all of the state and jurisdiction Road Transport Authorities.

What will the information tell me?

You will be able to access vehicle description, VIN, chassis, engine details, stolen, WOVR information, registration expiry dates and much more, including the relevant Glasses NVIC code.

What does it cost?

There are a variety of data products available which are billed on a "per-click" basis. Please contact us regarding pricing and volume discounts.

How do I access the service?

All MotorWeb transactions can be accessed via a web browser, or via a B2B XML webservices.
